Hello! My name is Pierre Cousyn, I am now living in Mainburg 20 minutes north of Munich airport in Germany. I moved to Germany to be able to hand pick dressage horses that I trained to be sold. Being a rider, trainer, instructor for over 30 years, I provide a comprehensive service for riders interested in shopping for sport horses in Europe. I like to present horses for sale that I get to know over a period of time. It allows me to more accurately assess whether the horses will meet the criteria of a given client, saving them time and frustration and finding the right home for the horse.

My philosophy is to match riders with horses that will help them meet their identified goals in a way that is both safe and satisfying.

My satisfaction comes from clients (and horses) who are happy long after the purchase transaction.

Who am I?

I lived as a dressage trainer/rider/instructor for 15 years in USA. I know very well by experience what the Americans dressage riders want and what they need. I have been an agent with great success for my students for more than 10 years traveling in Germany finding great horses to my clients ( see testimony page).

In addition to my time at Saumur, I worked for two years with Bruno Lostria, trainer of the French Young Riders Team, and for two years with Dominique Flament, who was trainer of the French National Dressage Team, Dirk Meylemans, young rider trainer for Bavarie In addition I have taken clinics with some of the best trainers in Europe, including Margitt Otto-Crepin, Daniel Ramseier, Christine Stuckelberger, Philippe Karl, and Guenter Seidel and Steffen Peters in the USA I have shown through Prix St. Georges and winning the Championship for four-year-old horses in the Romandie region of Switzerland and placing 6th in the Swiss National Championship.
